Software Test Engineering Team Lead
Location : Montreal
The candidate will be reporting directly to the Vice President, Software Engineering and will have the following responsibilities;
Major Responsibilities:
- Manage the system test engineering team;
- Product verification activities for multiple release streams;
- Product verification for multiple products;
- Development and maintenance of automated test tooling;
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
General requirements:
- B.S. or Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computing Science;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Product Verification, preferably in one of the following industries: semiconductor, wireless, software or consumer electronics;
- Proven proficiency in Quality Assurance personnel management;
- Proven proficiency in the development & execution of Quality Assurance test plans;
- Proven proficiency in the development & delivery of automated test tooling;
- Ability to prioritize and maintain team focus in dynamic geographically distributed environment;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent verbal and written French and English communication skills;
- Be available to travel from 10% to 40% North America Domestic & Internationally.
