Wavesat Launches Multimode 4G Broadband Chipset
OdysseyTM 8500 delivers, flexibility, performance, footprint and power consumption tailored for handsets and handheld devices WiMAX World EMEA, Munich – May 19, 2008 – Wavesat, a leading supplier of Broadband Wireless semiconductor solutions, today introduced its new family of 4G Broadband Wireless chipset named OdysseyTM, with a unique flexible, multimode 4G architecture enabling WiMAX Wave2, WiFi, XG-PHS and seamless migration to future 4G technologies such as LTE. The first product in the Odyssey™ family, the Odyssey 8500, is sampling now and is powered by a unique 4G multi-core architecture incorporating multiple ultra low power DSPs, offering flexibility, high performance and low power consumption, without any tradeoff. The SOC manufactured using advanced Embedded DRAM technology requires no external memory, thus saving customers valuable real estate, cost and power consumption for very small form-factor portable and mobile applications such as wireless USB dongle, mobile handsets and other consumer electronic devices. |

Hariff DTE Launches a 2.3 GHZ WiMax Based Basestation and Subscriber Unit Using Wavesat Chipset.
Sunnyvale, California and Bandung, Indonesia – April 2, 2008 – Wavesat, supplier of Broadband wireless semiconductor solutions and Hariff, a system manufacturer, announced the first broadband wireless access equipment designed for Indonesia.
The HiMAX-231, a WiMAX based 2.3 GHz Basestation and Subscriber unit solution manufactured by Hariff DTE, was officially launched on Friday February 29 in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The Governor of West Java Province, the Director General Application and Telematica Dept. of Indonesian Communication and Information, top Executives from TELCO Operators and many others were present at PT Hariff Daya Tunggal Engineering (Hariff DTE) head office for this unique event in the Indonesian telecom industry.

Victor is a 21 year industry veteran and brings extensive experience in wireless, processing, telecom and semiconductors.
In his new role, Victor will be responsible for defining and managing the strategic roadmap for Wavesat’s entire product portfolio. His additional areas of focus include application engineering and customer support.

Raj Singh to Lead the Company's Next Phase of Growth
Dorval, Canada – January 7, 2008 – Wavesat, a leading supplier and developer of WiMAX™ Fixed and Mobile semiconductor solutions announced today the appointment of Raj Singh as the company’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Singh brings over 25 years of international business experience to Wavesat.
Raj Singh joins Wavesat from MoSys (Nasdaq: MOSY), a provider of high-density system-on-chip (SoC) embedded memory solutions, where he was VP of Marketing and Business Development. Prior to that, he was Executive VP Worldwide Sales of Virage Logic (Nasdaq: VIRL) for 3 years and led the company to significant revenue growth during his tenure. Before joining Virage Logic, Mr. Singh was a founder, Executive VP and General Manager at 3Dlabs until its acquisition by Creative Technology (Nasdaq:CREAF) in 2002. He also played a major role in its IPO and acquisitions of Dynamic Pictures and Intense3D. Mr. Singh also spent five years with Dupont (NYSE: DD), where he was a business manager and VP of the company's Pixel operation.
